Originally from Boston, Hannah moved to New York City for college and received her B.A. summa cum laude from Columbia University in Comparative Literature & Society. She studied the use of narrative across media and cultures, focusing in particular on stories of trauma and consciousness. She has also studied in Spain, France, and the UK, and has conducted work and studies in Spanish and French.

Before pursuing theatre professionally, Hannah worked in healthcare in a variety of roles ranging from clinical research to hospital business operations. Throughout this work, she often found ways to incorporate storytelling as a tool for change, and worked on the role of the arts in healthcare.

Throughout her life, Hannah has always been passionate about literature, art, and language. Her love and respect for the power of storytelling provide a foundation for all of her theatrical work.
